Here's a poem about the brainwashing of teenage girls by the screwed up media's definition of beauty:

I look in the mirror and
See an ugly mass
a monster in disguise.
Fat, scars, and painful promises.
I see the images on the television
And can't believe my eyes.
Thin girls, fancy clothes, and
Glittering diamonds.
It's all too much to take.
Loving you is hard to do.
So I look at myself
In the mirrors of insanity,
in the looking glass of real truths.
I turn off the television
and throw away the magazines.
Loving you is hard to do
But I see myself in a new light.
I look in the mirror and see beauty.
A woman's body, glowing skin, and
Life of dreams.
Loving you is hard to do
But it is worth everything.
I have found sanity in insanity,
Light in darkness, and
Truth in beauty.

May you too also.
