It's back to reality

Well, it's been a while, if anybody noticed. A new year hath come and an old year hath gone, and for it, I was in Alaska with my lovely wife, introducing her to all kinds of new firsts, including but not limited to: exposure to <10°F weather, building and launching model rockets, drilling through over a foot of ice with an ice auger and turning blocks of wood into pretty bowls. Much drinking and food was had, and we watched the birth of 2011 from a hot tub with champagne and a fireworks display. All pretty hunky dory.
Most unfortunately, reality hit hoam today. Such ingestion of calories and lack of exercise had its mark on both of us. So it's back to the gym, hardcore. New year's resolutions: save money, move, find REAL FULL TIME WELL FUCKING PAYING JOB, drop about three or four stone, not necessarily in that order. I need to fit into pretty outfits since it seems stuff may actually happen musically this year. That would be nice.
Would also like to get some story work done, significant story work, at least make some fucking sense of Alison. That bitch is an enigma to me.
