I know others my age who can't wait to be older. All I hear them talk about is what they can't do, where they can't go, and who they aren't supposed to hang around. I even know this girl who told all of us that the reason she was in a foster home is because someone told her if she lied about stuff that happened at home that she'd be allowed to live with someone else better. I hope she was lying about that.

I know I've seen things and had experiences someone my age shouldn't, and I don't mean naked girls running from guys with machetes in slasher films. I think I want to stay a kid for a while because I feel like I've missed some of it. It already feels like I'm getting older too fast. I blinked and the summer was over.

It probably doesn't help that I turn another year older on September 13th. I could really use a giant pause button right now.

Enjoy your youth! It's worth it, the world sucks nowadays to be wanting to grow up too fast

" stay golden pony boy" if there's anything you enjoy about being young I suggest that you get as much of it as you can handle. Older is a bit of a drag. Once you that childlike innocence there no getting it back and things will not be as splendid . There are some perks , but don't grow up to fast... Oh and get a notebook cause your going to forget alot of details as you get older
