Riyo Moore Monologue-
I realize that this is not the prime location for such a pretty long-tossed idea to go, but I figure this was better than any. In this short "book/novel", I spill my thoughts over the human element, this including, but not limited to, the human thought process, human instinctive actions based primary motives, the brain's thought process and the human emotion process. Many things here will be considered controversial and quite opposite as what someone else may think, so be warned, that any and all comments that are before this such "novel and or story and or mini-book" is finished will be erased and ignored. Any comments that are not considered "intelligent" based on their content (not by their grammar unless they are purposefully being idiots) will also be ignored. I also understand that I may only receive a handful of comments and or views to this post and that is also understandable. I am not looking for such things. This is just something to give others, who may also feel that information in this is incorrect or could be worked upon, a place to render their thoughts and communicate their concerns. As this prologue/monologue reaches an end, I thank you for reading what I have to say, and appreciate what you will comment. Enjoy.

Riyo Moore Introduction -

A careful thing about the human element that should be taken into consideration is the vast amount of information that is needed to process WHAT should be thought of when thinking about this. To think about the element is to think about it as a pie. A simple but effective analogy and very useful when explaining. In this pie(The Human Element), you have a few slices. One slice being the brain, another the emotion, one is the body and the other piece, thought, also known as the spirit or conscious. These large pieces of pies are used to create the whole, A.K.A, the human element or pie. (The actual definition, or my personal definition of the "Human Element" will be covered later.) These small pieces are made up of more individual pieces. The pieces will be discussed in detail as we approach the finer points of the human element as I discuss what I believe drives the human psyche.

Riyo Moore The Pie-

I remember when I was younger, sitting at my SEGA Genesis playing Aladdin. At this moment, I was involved in the concept that video games = fun/my life. At some times, I still do believe such things. At that age, that was to be expected. I hated [some] women, I disliked chores, I was afraid of the dark, I hated school (I still do) among many other things. But what I didn't understand was that my "pie" was forming. My body had stopped "physically" developing. I was as human as I was going to get. But I was still mentally and chemically young. My pie had not finished groping around in the dark for the things that It should have. I began to grow older and began to see that video games weren't the only things to experience. I became adventerous, doing things that at my age, were things I should have no business doing. I stumbled upon beer on accident and was deftly beaten. I had obtained a cigarette and was rashly, but well deservedly punished. I learned my lesson, and my pie grew. Now at this time, if you are a vivid gamer, such as myself, you will see a pattern. As I pass these experiences and learn from the, my "pie" grows as "EXP". This is one way of looking at the concept of the human element.
If you are lost to this analogy in a analogy, then picture it this way:

I learn from my mistakes. The "brain" slice grows. Smaller individual slices of that one slice are spread, and that tiny slice of the brain slice is the moral of my punishment. That slice now has what I call a "meaning". All slices in the pie have meanings, but only after they are created. By created, I mean that the pie is sliced and given a purpose. Now, you may be wondering, that after the "Brain" slice is cut, you have one with a meaning, and another with out. They are both of equal size. What happens here is that the slice without "meaning" is placed aside for usage by either another slice of the pie ( the thought or body) or by the brain slice itself.

This is all confusing, but once you read over it a bit more, you'll have full understanding of how this "pie" analogy explains what we are and why we are what we do/are.

Riyo Moore The Pie (Furtherly Explained) -

The Pie is a analogy I'm using to explain the element as a whole object separated into smaller individual pieces that exist to make a whole. Without one piece, the others have no meaning and stand for nothing. In other words, without the "brain" slice, the "Body" slice is nothing, and the "thought" slice is meaningless. You cannot have one without the other. If this is difficult to process, think about Football. You cannot play the sport without the ball. Without the ball, there is no sport. In all, you cannot have one slice without the other.

Think of the pie. The pie is sliced into four HUGE slices. Body, Brain, Thought and Emotion. Each slice is it's own being, only connected by the things they share in common. These things are "The body needs the brain, the body shows emotion, the thoughts are acted out by the body, the thoughts need the brain and emotions rely on thoughts." This is another reason why one cannot exist without the other. Without emotions or our brain, body or our thought, we are not human.

"To Deny [insert phrase here] is to deny what makes us human."
Most of the time, when this phrase is used, it contains our physical drive for sex or our emotional drive for crying and/or anger. Reading this and what I've written should make a bit more sense now.

In order to understand the further articles of what I'm going to present to you, you must first understand "Pie". So if you yet do not, please re-read this and the articles above until you can pull a mental image of the object and list the slices and understand what and why the slices need each other.

Riyo Moore The Slices-

The Human Element's basic internet definition is: "Human element are the phenomena which are often the "surprizes" we as humans toss into a given situation rather then "logic or common sense" behavior." (Ralph Salier - 1/7/2007; http://tinyurl.com/24kx3au)

My definition is simple: "What makes us human." This includes our bodily shape, our mental states and our thought configuration (which is different for everyone, but same for our species. More on this later.)

This is where part of the disagreement comes in. Some people think that the element is based solely on the fact that we, as humans, make mistakes and that is what the element is. But this isn't the only thing that makes up the element. This will be covered later on in different articles pertaining to the subject.

"Slices" are what make us human, what makes up the element. The four distinct slices, "Brain, Body, Thought and Emotion" create our being and most likely are what describe us in ease. A disturbance or unequality of any of these slices can cause us to become unstable. Having more brain that emotion can cause us to be psychopathic. More thought than body can cause us to be too much of a thinker and not much of an action taker. Too much body and not enough brain renders us unintellectual. And too much brain and not enough body can cause us to become outcasts based on standards put forth by other humans that are stable/unstable.

As I've stated earlier, slices can "grow" by dividing and given a "meaning". Each slice, although equal in size to it's "sister" slice, and smaller than the "mother" slice (What ever slice it spawned from, such as a brain slice dividing into smaller slices, those smaller slices would be considered the sister slice and the larger, a mother slice) all have equal or should have equal balance and equal meaning at the time of spawning if the human it represents is healthy physically and mentally. A physically/mentally healthy person is as defined in your health class. They can balance their social, health and personal health. They have female and male friends, they are where they should be weight wise and are relatively happy. These balances CAN fluctuate and still be within healthy regions, such as weight and personal status. A person can still be overweight and be the happiest person you know and live a full life. Or a person thought to be "Crazy" or a "freak" due to how they represent them self on a personal scale can be one of the best people you know. In a summary, these things create a human, but don't have to be perfect to be human.
