I have been suffering from some major artistic blockage lately.
Still waiting for my muse to return..... and waiting....

REALLY Liked 'Distance'.
Some nights when the brain wouldn't let me sleep, I go out and take a little ride. (We have some long, dark, and winding roads around here.) Like to listen to ambient type stuff on these little outings.

4 in the morning. Streets Empty. Everything still wrapped in Night.

Oh I always look for totally different disciplines. If not ...new methods on old materials. Like switching to pencils from pastels or something.
And there is always the adage that to know good art is to know bad art. Consume tons of art.
Maybe there is a tangent in the skill you missed, like maybe as a metaphor make your own pencils.
