GOTHIC.NET FOLKS: Who on this board likes Goth-Indust conventions? Who's going to Convergence 12 this Spring?

Well.. your last 'indust' question thread earned no interest... What exactly gave you the motivation to try again?

I do not agree with your description of Convergence, but I will be attending. New Orleans, here I come!

Maybe there should be a Goth In Dust convention, where the goths show up wearing nothing but a dusting of their favorite powder.

Or perhaps a Goth Endust convention, where everything is buffed to a shiny gloss.

Ugh, my jokes are so bad, I feel nauseated. :P

I'm not so thrilled about the bands... but CXII isn't really about the bands anyway.

I'd love to go, but it's yet another that I won't be allowed to attend.

And it'll be sooooo close too!

Not allowed? Dare I ask why?

Because I'm married and he has the utmost say in anything I'm allowed to do, or not to do.

Running around listening to a bunch of 'weird' music with a bunch of 'freaks' would not be fun for him, and thus I'm not allowed to go. Honestly I wonder why the hell he married me sometimes.......

But that's a rant for another day.

I wish I was spending a tax refund on CXII. I found out that I owe $1100. :(
But I'm going to Convergence anyway!

Ugh, I hate owing money at the end of the year. I had a rough year. I made little enough that they're returning all of the money they took in the first place.

I'm glad you'll be attending anyway... :D We could run into eachother. I'm going with my bf, his brother and his gf.

i haven't decided yet if i'm going. Actually it depends on whether or not i have the money.

i might just order a tshirt and say i went. It's only about four hours from me, that'll be believable. ;)

Thank you, I'm soo sad. My tax return is going to be about what I expected but my bf is actually going to end up owing.. so it kind of cancels mine out.. :(

Well, I'm sorely disappointed. But I'll have TallOne's boots to make up for it! That's right, I bought 'em. Everyone else's New Rocks have flames, mine'll have BATS!
