Gothtastic!!!

Wow! Rock on! I'm glad I found this forum. I live in a rural area and have found that there is an extreme shortage of goths here. I feel like I'm the only goth around. Question: What's the best gothy type clothing I can buy for $7.99 or less at Wal-Marts?

Meph 04-30-2007 12:48 PM

Dude, Wal-Mart is so UNgoth.

Ezekiel Cletus 04-30-2007 12:50 PM

But it's the only store I know to go to. Would the flea market have an assortment of Goth or Juggalo type clothing?

Breathless Horror 04-30-2007 12:52 PM

I really hate to disapoint, but there is nothing gothy about Wal-Mart. My best suggestion would be to buy some black jeans and just alter them yourself. Thrift stores are also your friend.

Oh yeah, While I'm here, please post an Intro thread in the introduction board, so that we can get to know you. Make sure to read the stickies so you know what to answer.

Welcome to g-net, and best of luck in your searches.

Cyntrox 04-30-2007 01:07 PM

If you haven't done it yet, make an intro. Also, this should be in the fashion board.

Underwater Ophelia 04-30-2007 01:11 PM

...why $7.99? Something is amiss here.

Ezekiel Cletus 04-30-2007 01:13 PM

Cause i'm on a very tight budget.

eternalcrimson 04-30-2007 01:20 PM

I suppose you get those Fruit-Of-The-Loom black shorts. I think those are 4 for a $1 :D.

Come ooonnn...

Dancing_in_rain 04-30-2007 06:19 PM

Make an effort darling. Wal-Mart? Gothic? I don't think so. I would suggest buying really basic stuff and some ribbon and lace, as well as a sweing kit. Have fun!

MollyMac 04-30-2007 07:32 PM

Troll or not, sometimes people try to shop within their means and with their own money. Don't give them shit for lack of options due to finance or distance. The net may be an option, but shipping alone...

Awwww, what a cute suggestion for someone who likes to run around in black underwear..............ROFLMAO!!!! :D :D

raggedyanne 04-30-2007 09:17 PM

Do some online shopping. As for walmart:
http://everything2.com/index.pl?node...ode_id=1868741

and

http://everything2.com/index.pl?node...ode_id=1868741
those won't help at all for clothing, but this isn't in the fashion secion anyway.

BlackDahlia 05-01-2007 12:41 AM

I...I don't think you can find even those corny "God Bless America" tees (made in China!) for that much. >.>;

Anyways, I highly suggest thrift stores like Goodwill...you'd be surprised at what you can dig up. I once found a gorgeous velvet duster-vest under $12 at one. :) Even if you don't find exactly what you're looking for, you can always find something to modify.

Is it possible for you to answer even one post without resorting to spastic internet slang?

It is getting irritating.

MollyMac 05-01-2007 03:51 PM

*getting*

Dude, it has been irritating for a while... You are just more patient.

Godslayer Jillian 05-01-2007 04:05 PM

Rather than Wal-Mart, there's always the always trusty and equally affordable thrift stores.

Oh man, I'm glad you have asked for goth AND Juggalo clothing...seeing as how they are SO much alike...
assfuck.

Vako 05-01-2007 07:05 PM

I've heard that term "Juggalo" before. It has to do with Insane Clown Posse. If I remember correctly, a Juggalo is a fan of that band who dresses like some sort of hybrid between a Wigger and a gangster.

maggot 05-01-2007 08:42 PM

Don't forgot the clown.
