does anyone else do Marital Arts?
 

I do Ninjitsu i'm a red-belt.

im mostly self-taught beccause the dojo at my school is too expensive this year, (and is jusr Tae Kwon Dumb anyway).

Does anyone else do martial arts? BJJ? Akiko? Exscrime?

Sure, some judo and took basic kung-fu in college. It was at the community college so not very expensive at all. Things changed since then though. Seems like everyone is charging a lot of money to take these types of classes now that it's more popular.

Now you've got me started. I hate quilts (doonas). I love blankets. I can never get the doona cover on without climbing inside.

and then there is the whole pull the cat out of the cover, shove the doona in, pull the cat out of the cover, shove the doona in a little further - and repeat until the doona gets thrown out of the room and I cuddle with the cat.

So maybe the whining thread is right for this post? or just me in general at the moment.

Whining should be an Olympic sport.

I really don't bother myself with marital arts at this point in my life.
I don't need the complications.

Marital arts are derivative and outdated. The post-modern era has no need of such rigid forms and traditions.

Oh yeha? Do you do Jeet-kune-do or something? I herd that's more fluid than most martial arts.

To me, the marital arts aren't anything I would bother with unless it would prove to be important to the sparring partner I would be with :o

I nevar spar becaus all the moves i know are killing moves and i don't want to kill someone when its just practice.

i donn't star tfights i just finish them.

I used to be in Boxing.

I've always want to do Savate though.
