KissMeDumbfuck did it in the other thread when he said "I have the utmost respect for veterans, but you joined the military to support yourself, you made poor life decisions to be in the military and expect me to make up for it, veterans are never forced into service, you knew what war was like before you signed up for it so anything negative that came from your service is your own fault, your real complaint about my comment is that I won't kiss your ass, you're playing a PTSD card and that I compared paying taxes to going to war isn't a big deal."

Pretty much anytime someone says something sensible and follows it with a ", but" you can be pretty sure you're about to be pissed off.

The words 'I'm not racist but....' make my blood boil.

You hear that line a lot in the part of the Lone Star State I live in. "I'm not racist but I'll only date my color" or "I'm not racist but I think black people need to stop being so loud all the time." Here's my favorite since I'm Hispanic "I'm not racist but why can't Mexicans stay in Mexico? Isn't their country good enough for them since it's full of Mexicans?"

The only point I attempt to discuss is the immigration situation, but it's normally a case of the other putting their fingers in their ears and saying "La, la, la, la I'm not listening!"
