Neither do I. Such blatant attempts to market emo annoy me, grr.
A guy said "cheer up emokid" to me when I was sitting on a stair listening to music, while waiting for a friend. Then I had a 5 min monologue about the history of the emo of the 80's and the difference yadayda and he was like: "oh, uhm", and just walked away with a confused look. 1-0 to me.
Or he thought "Will she shut the fuck up? This is inconsequential, maybe she should know something useful like how to cook, or understand that pop-culture fades in and out and is rather inconsequential."
