Been there, done that, can sympathize. Did you get "The Lecture" too, or just the ticket?
"The Lecture" is where the cop tells you that you shouldn't be going that fast, and you should slow it down. Almost all of my speeding tickets have been on my bike, so "The Lecture" falls on deaf ears. I just stand there with my arms crossed, and wait for the officer to finish.
