It would be counterproductive to throw away clothing an animal already died for their existence and never using them again.
I got my leather loafers and jacket at a thrift store. Like four bucks and thirty five bucks. Had I bought some new non-leather products, even environmentally friendly, the energy input for their manufacture is a bigger environmental impact than just buying hand-me-downs, leather or non-leather.
