Communication problems

Is it just me or does my mother have communication problems?

Here's what happens:

My house has a cordless phone system, a phone system with a hub phone plugged into the wall, and several wireless units that connect to the hub, a phone system which I warned my mother not to get because she is horrible at keeping track of small electronics that aren't plugged into the wall constantly. As I predicted the cord phone gets lost all around the house, and my mother sometimes even takes it with her in the car. The end result? She gets on everyone else's case for not putting the phones back in the charger docks.

I warned her not to put the hub phone in her room, the hub phone should be where someone is most reliably going to answer the phone. The end result? she put it in her room and even though she is quite often next to the phone, she expect everyone else to answer on the cordless phones, and then bring those phones to her despite having the hub right next to her head.

So recently the cordless phones have been losing their ability to hold a charge and frequently cut out in the middle of a short conversation forcing everyone to run to the hub phone if we ever want to answer the phone. which is upstairs in my mother's room on the top floor. So I got fed up and brought the hub phone to where people are most frequently, aka the computer desk downstairs. The end result? my mother yells to my father about this while he's down in Lousiana.

This is just an example of her communication issues with me, there are countless examples of communication problems with everyone else. Yet somehow everyone else has communication issues. I know it's probably being a bad son to think of this, but I'm constantly reminded of Homer Simpson's quote "everyone's stupid except me". I want to help her but she wont listen, she just seems to resent me
