Hello fellow darkly inclined individuals!
I really suck at introductions, so I'll just use the basic guidelines...
1. What do you do?
I'm currently a stay at home mom.
2. Where are you from?
I live in New Mexico, though I was raised in Kentucky.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Too difficult to choose just one, so some examples are Anne Rice, RA Salvatore, Piers Anthony, Anne Mcaffery, Dean Koontz, Terry Brooks, Ellen Hopkins etc..
4. What are your favorite films?
Interview with a Vampire, The Matrix Trilogy, The Dark Crystal, Any Tim Burton or JK Rowling, and pretty much anything supernatural.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I had a wide variety of music played.
6. At your funeral?
I'm not sure now, in my angsty teen years I would have wanted something traditionally goth, but now I realize a funeral isn't really about me, it's about the people who would miss me...So something hopeful and comforting.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Of old age.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Black glossy lacquer...I plan on getting that BEFORE I die though.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Hm, can't choose..some days I love yards of black lace and rose detailing, and other days just give me some leather, spikes and stompy boots.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Discovering all the things I love now...that magical "click" moment.
11. What's your favorite band?
Again, too tough to choose..I appreciate "traditional goth music" like Baushaus, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy etc. That's not really my favorite kind of sound though. I recently discovered Sopor Aeturnus, I don't know yet if they will be a favorite, but that's what I'm currently checking out.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Some college, no degree. I majored in Journalism. I plan on going back someday, and I have a strong interest in Psychology.
13. Why did you join?
To meet cool people and have some cool conversations.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Does it matter?
I'm not the "gothiest" person, I'm just me. I like what I like and a lot of it just happens to include things that fall into the dark alternative scene. I'm not beautifully tragic, I'm just an awkward girl who loves vampires and interesting clothes. I love beauty in darkness, and I also love the quirkyness within the goth scene. I have a lot of different interests, and I'm proud of that! I'm extremely friendly, and you won't find me sitting in a dark room mourning the lack of understanding in the world, however, you might just find me at the local cemetery, decked out in leather and chains, eating cotton candy and talking to my friends, and the occasional ghost.
