If you are truly interested in the topics Dan Brown er, touched upon in DaVinci Code then try reading the books he basicly lifted his entire theory from. Goddess in the Gospels, and Woman With the Alabaster Jar by Margarit Starbird. They're a good starting point.

Other than that, it was a boring and predictable book for anyone who knows a damn thing about goddess worship, Magdalene conspiracy, or religious symbolism in general. I can see how it would shock John Q. Public and I guess that's exactly what Dan Brown expected.

And Dan Brown ain't so accurate himself, sweetie. In DaVinci code one of his characters informs us that there are over 80 gospels total. That's books, smart guy, not gospels. A gospel is a book but a book is not a gospel. Just thought I'd mention it...
