What worries me is that this stuff is coming out of the CATO institute. They're a pretty prominent conservative think tank.

CATO guys are assholes but I always thought they were at least mainstream assholes.

I've been hoping that after the defeat of McCaine and healthcare passing, the republicans would realize that these alarmist psuedo revolutionary tactics aren't working, and their discourse is being polluted by insane idiots.

This could be a sign that they're still moving in the: "scare the fuck out of everyone until they either vote for us or stop voting and hole up in a bunker with deadman and Amunet" direction.
