You have no idea how much this pisses me off.
People think they can change the inherent attiude by changing the word. The evidence consistently confirms that they can't, but that doesn't mean we won't continue chugging out a new word for retarded every five years, while the inherent attitudes remain unchanged. It's basically censorship which either achieves absolutely nothing, or allows people to go on fooling themselves - therefore no one wins.
