Absinthe?
All right, so I have a dude who sees me frequently at the strip club, and he gifted me a bottle of "real absinthe" which he supposedly got from his buddy in Russia, implying that it is somehow better than the shit you can buy in the US (since it is legal now). It's called Grande Absente. I'm looking it up, and it seems that this IS available in the US, and it is imported to New Jersey. Soooo I guess this guy is full of shit, which is not news to me.
ANYWAY.
I have only tried absinthe - or the fake shit, whatever - years ago when it was still banned in the US so I am sure it wasn't the "real deal" and I don't know what to expect with this one. What are your experiences?
