As my school was, it was a smalltown in which most of the people there are farmers of some sort. I was one of only a few people that even listened to heavy metal in my school. I caught a lot of heat and trouble for it while in school and even since I have graduated. I usually laughed and went on when they said things. Most learned very quickly that they were stupid and kind of crazy for their actions against me when they started to pick fights and attack me. But to be gothic and be pissed when people discriminate against you is almost comic. To openly be different just to be pissed when that difference is vocalized by someone except yourself shows that you wanted that discrimination in the first place.
