Try getting arrested multiple times. My dad loves me now, since it's been 10 months since I've been arrested. xD

If I were you, I'd keep what you've already got, and from now on express yourself with simpler things, such as ornate silver jewelry-- You could try back-combing your hairlike Siouxsie Sioux; you'd be surprised at how strong the image is to our generation, but how little it means to your parents. At least in my experience.
