The Cure have always spoken to me, too. However, there are some songs of their I can't realy listen to anymore because they're just too damn emotionally painful (for various reasons, I guess). One is "Untitled", another is "Apart", and another is "M".
Another song that always makes me sad is (Shock! Surprise!) Joy Division's "A Means To An End".
