That's why I instantly flame or diss anyone with "666" in their name in a goth chatroom. That's so overdone and does not in any way convince people that you're actually evil. Another thing I don't understand is why people like my mom are so afraid of that number. It's just a number. So what if it's "the number of the beast"? Does that mean I could take the number 27 and call it "the number of OnixxFilth"? Would that give it any power? To me, 666 is just a number and it only has as much power as you give it. That's why I don't think Christians should be so afraid of it. If you are afraid of something, you give it power over you, in one form or another.
