I hate the phrase "we need to talk..."

Really? We need to talk? How about you just tell me what you are going to say, because you are already talking to me to tell me that, so obviously we need to talk.

Not only that, but most of the time it's not a "we" situation it's a "I" am going to tell you what you are doing wrong, and then "you" are going to fix it. There's no other person talking, just fixing what person A thought was messed up.
