I didn't mind P. E., actually; I enjoyed the exercise. XD It was a break in the day from having to sit and listen to teachers for hour after hour.

Also, we nearly always had female P. E. teachers, so a girl's monthly visitor didn't really fly as an excuse. [It didn't help that they were also usually coaches of the women's various sports teams.]
