I happened to like the look and feel of the Burton films even though they were borderline awful in the first place, and didn't follow the comics at all.
Dark Knight is the greatest Batman film yet, and I agree with Kontan it could have easily been 4 hours long, honestly I would've liked it better (if possible.)
