You know, as half-assed as the acting was, I admit that I really liked this show. It was my next guilty pleasure after Sex and the city. I know, right? That's why they call them guilty pleasures. I haven't watched the entire 6 seasons, but I really think I liked the lesbian aspect of it more than anything, simply because it showed them as just people. The marketing behind it was hardly singing the same tune, but I definitely think that that is what got me. It wasn't about, "oh look, lesbians are awesome freaks like that," or what have you. It was about women who went through life as a group of both loosely and closely associated regular Janes who just happen to be lesbians.
