Water under the bridge man, but I'm glad you're getting yourself sorted.

We're in a military town so culturally it doesn't seem too different from Colorado Springs, it's just a lot smaller. Most people I've met so far aren't even from here. I still have culture shock; I get weirded out by gun stores on every corner and I have a mini melt down every time I go grocery shopping because food is so cheap here and no one seems to appreciate it or notice it. I'm always like, "Frozen sweet potato fries for a dollar? Back in the old country, it was six dollars for a smaller bag!"

Other than that it kinda feels like a weird alternative universe rural Newfoundland, small towns just seem the same wherever you go.

Acharis, I feel the same. I have other forums I frequent, but Gnet is like that asshole friend who's just too much fun to quit. Well, until the day the MRAs came. I think killing the forums for a little while was worth getting away from that.
