Nolan's, by far. Of the original Batman film series, only the original movie and its sequel can even be considered barely serviceable, and both pale to Batman Begins. Nolan's reboot, both in its reverence toward the character and generally quality as a cinematic work, improves upon virtually every facet of Burton's 1989 Batman, featuring casting that puts the efforts of whoever told Jack Nicholson he could play the Joker by putting on facepaint and acting like himself to shame, a script that devotes attention to Batman's motives and origin as well as to characters such as Alfred and Gordon, who, though critically important in the character's mythology, were glanced over in earlier adaptations, and a Gotham city that looks more like a populated metropolis than a goffik caricature thereof.

Um. Batman Begins was one of the best superhero movies ever made. That's so inarguable that, if this was /co/, I'd be certain you were trolling. Also, Batman & Robin, the movie featuring Mr. Freeze (not Iceman) and Poison Ivy, didn't involve the Joker.
