One of my favorite artists, is Joe Coleman. If I ever have enough money to spend on awesome art.. I would buy one of his pieces in a heartbeat. He's a genuine freak of freaks, and his art is detailed, disgusting and beautiful.

random photos

pictures I've taken on my travels.

Yeah I suck at resizing. My lame-ass excuse is having a baby crawling all over me.

Is that supposed to be a weird Wheel Of Life?

That always creeped me out.

Always admire people who can create works of art - so many creative people

Saya - the first photo is of Port Arthur in Tasmania - if you like ghosts it's the place to be.

The second is the harbor in Hobart, Tasmania (Australia).

The last image is of a guy who parks his rickshaw at Victoria Peak in Hong Kong. It took a lot of coaxing($$) to get him to sit in his rickshaw. He thought I was slightly crazy when I wanted a photo of him in the rickshaw - but how boring having photos of yourself when the locals are much more interesting.

I love that top one there... of course.. I've always been partial to tight, black, shiny clothes on people.

^^ The first flyer is my favourite as well. Nice use of a tractor.

As far as typical artists go, I have always thought Salvador Dali was an interesting fellow.
This piece in particular has always been one of my favourites --

Why? I can only hazard because I saw it quite a bit as a young whelp, a copy of it hanging on a wall in my father's house. I'd spend a lot of time considering the elephant's legs and the backward horseshoes. I went through a stage in late elementary school where all my doodled animals would have stilts for legs and pointy feet.
Nothing deeper to my interest in this painting than that. Clingy childhood memories perhaps.

Two of my own pencil sketches (pointy feet here in fact have nothing to do with Dali):

Haha, quite right. I think I was trying to say..."typical" as in "well known". Sometimes my English doesn't make sense.

Only Dali could make a poster warning of venereal disease this beautiful.

Sorry, got distracted by life.

I will get cracking on inking the cat. Went from feeling hopelessly uninspired and despondent to optimistic.

My super talented friend wants to work on a webcomic type thing with me. He sent me a teaser type thing, and I thought someone might appreciate his work.
