Yikes! Poor baby!

There is a product for ballet slippers that consists of a rubber form one can insert into the slipper, that wraps around the toes, so that in addition to easing the landing impact, the time one can endure standing on point is extended comfortably.

Lucky me: when I had ballet lessons as a teenager, I only had to "lift" the girls whilst they leapt. Still had to wear the slippers, but they were black.

I forget the name of the product, but you should be able to search for it. One of my friends bought them for her daughter and she swears by them now. Her daughter has gone on to perform in New York somewhere.

Boo-boos today? I just have some old ones, one of which is preventing me from wearing my watch cuz it makes my wrist sore. I have more brain-boo-boos than physical ones.

I do Scottish dance, not ballet anymore. Many of the foot positions are the same, however, as ballet creeps its way into everything. Familiarity makes any dance form more popular.

And, damn it all, ghillies aren't so much constructed to have nice cushy inserts in them. More bandages and Advil, less snivelling.

Are you a professional dancer? I.e. in a dance troupe or something? And I just realized who you are. You are BS.

I have a pinched nerve in my right shoulder.

I took some Advil though and my arm stopped tingling and my shoulder stopped hurting.

Would suddenly waking up with a headache and a badly- executed mohawk sitting on your head without you remembering how the heck that happened to get there (and where a few thousand of your hair strands went to) be reckoned as a boo-boo? Anyway, whomever shaved my head also cut me behind my right ear. That's boo- boo for sure, it stings really badly. And if I ever find out who did this - ooh, sweet revenge... *mutters, grinning in a horribly wicked manner*

Minyaliel I hope your cut heals fast.

Molly I hope your toe is doing well. A friend of mine is a dancer, and in the same day as foot surgery she had a rehearsal amazingly she didn't bat a eye.

Raggedy, why the hell do you let them do that? OR, better yet, why do they do that?

My hands are blistered and bruised from shovelling snow/ice, and my back, shoulders, obliques, and neck are sore from having to lift it. I know I should have used my legs not my back, but that would have thrown my balance and then it'd hurt to sit.

I didn't notice until you pointed it out, so, well, no....

... I didn't take note of anything particularly offensive or whatnot.

Meh. Seems that the rules for this fiefdom are inconsistent, and I am tired of guessing at them. Maybe Vyusher has a proxy server and will come back and fill us in.

EDIT:

I didn't see any Sporking language under his/her name... am I taking a different connotation of "kicked"?

This is getting rediculous (sp?). My metalhead fried is trying out for the school GOLF team and I insulted/ teased him about it. Did you know golfers wear cleats? They hurt. I need to start carrying a shield or something. I also do dance, but I'm not sure if I can complain about international latin and tango when you poor ballet dancers are in so much pain.

Got a little too drunk and woke up with five cigarette burns on my left arm. I vaguely remember doing this, but don't think there was any reason behind it. They don't hurt, but they look kinda nasty - guess I'll be wearing strictly long sleeves for a while.

I've had so many stair related injuries that I think I'm developing a phobia. ^_^

My wisdom teeth are growing in at a bad angle so I can't close my mouth properly or I'll cut the inside of my cheek. I also can't chew properly and it feels like I''ve got something stuck in my mouth. At least they don't hurt anymore.

My finger was killing me, so I took a vicodin, and now I'm mentally worthless, almost comatose...blah. Everything is too much effort...I hate being a zombie. No pain, but no brain either. (sits listening to neighbor's weed wacker buzzing through the air...)
