Wow, People still use that (A/S/L)? Interesting. I have not been in chat rooms for centuries (okay over a decade).

And what is so creepy about wishing somebody good luck in the attempt at finding "love"? Or hinting about the place where one lives? God forbid that something cool might happen, you know, like having real physical contact with somebody instead of just letters, bits, characters, fonts and graphics?

Uhm... interesting development.

I can see the replies: your a newbie. That looks like cyber-stalking behavior. LOL. You are probably to old. There is a three dimensional world out there. Believe it or not, before the internet, people had real life, blood and meat friends. I know, unthinkable.

Anyways, once again, sweetdreamr23 good luck on your hunt,

Uncle Jerry.

P.S.: besides, we would never make it. I suck at poetry and hate flowers (^_^)
P.P.S.: forgive my ignorance Geoluhread but, what is a ten character thing?

Oh.. LOL, the "uncle" part.

Yes, that is done on purpose. I am an older guy and a fucking pervert... It is for effect.

And it is very weird, but for some odd reason, I am like a Pied Piper (is that how you spell it? I must google it). Children think I am just another one of them and crowd me, follow me and want to play with me. Very weird indeed.

Have fun guys!!!

"Uncle Jerry" LOL.

P.S.: it was also the nickname given to me by my subordinates in Afghanistan, a term of endearment if you will.

I'm talking about the --uncle-- thing..... You tag it at the end of your posts as some sort of indication you wish us to think of you as.
Yes, I knew an person who wished to also have the title Uncle..... Long story short he was a creep that was caught with child porn on his computer.

Kind of unfortunate that I am indeed a real uncle and that I am older than most here (kind of like being the uncle of you all). And that it is the nickname given to me by my "kids" in the army.

But you had to bring the dreaded CP tag and association that will bring to all my posts. Thanks for that.

"JERRY"

It stands for age/sex/location. Confused the hell out of me back when I first started using msn... along with 'lol', 'rofl' and 'brb'. I seriously thought a cat had jumped onto my friends' keyboards or something when I first read them.

Honestly, the whole boyfriend thing is overrated. I know it may seem like you have to have one to be socially acceptable or something, but you should take a step back and think about it, do you really need one, or is it just a superficial want? Honestly, they just take up time that you could be using for something better.

Oh right! Hmm. Nope, never seen it before now. Weird.

I can no longer really imagine what having a boyfriend would be like to be honest. I've never had one and am very unlikely to for a few more years. I'm not asexual or anything, far from it, but it's one of those things that seems to have always happened to other people, not me.

I can't really imagine what it's like to spend so much time with one person.

It always seems like the people that do not date have that type of mindset. I'm starting to think that on some level others can feel it, so maybe that attitude is like a "do not enter" sign, because I REALLY doubt it is some flaw of yours. In case that didn't come through, I was giving you a compliment.

Everyone seems to be so obsessed with firmly attaching themselves to another human being at the hip. I used to be that way when I was younger, but after a guy who I was with for three years in a relationship that didn't appear to be going anywhere, a second guy who was the biggest drug-addled asshat on the planet, and another guy with fidelity issues that was more than happy to point out my flaws but refused to see his own, I found out that I'm much happier being single.

P.S. As much of a closet romantic as I am, relationships aren't about love. They're about how well the two of you can be friends and work together after the "lovey-dovey googley-eyed" feeling wears off. More power to you though if you can find a guy willing to give you roses every once in a while after two or three years of being together.

It's fun when people try to backpedal.

You don't suffer from sarcasm.
Sarcasm is witty and funny.
This was stupid. If you're not backpedaling, you're not much better; you're just the type of person that thinks THIS is a good practical joke:

I would be happy if my boyfriend weren't in jail and I wasn't in pain every day.

Count your lucky stars.

Some day you'll have one, don't rush it.

I guess you just didn't bother reading the whole thread, but she was kidding and is engaged.
