Oh Saya, why must fate be so cruel to prevent a love so pure and perfect as ours from ever being fully realized?

also thank you for pulling me out of the pity party I seem to have been having all day, I needed that

Probably because our situation, army girlfriend and navy wife, is the perfect scenario for a really bad porn.

You're welcome, dollface.

I need a distraction. Between now and when I get home from work in 3 hours someone needs to post something that will keep me distracted for at least a couple of hours.

how about Ren and Timeless getting it on in the porn thread dressed as an army wife and a navy wife?

I was half alseep this morning and took two tablets instead of one. I'm feeling freaky.

Anything that will serve as a distraction would be welcome at this point, I'm even considering wandering back over to 4chan

Sorry Sol, I'm straight out of anything useful in my head. busy in the headspace of my characters, pausing in my thoughts to get rid of a deep thought that popped into my head.

watching my poor little kitty, who had an abscess drained on her rear leg yesterday basking in a warm spot in the sun.... looks like another week of living on lentils since she spent our food budget at the vets.

Sorry I got lost in /b/ for a little while there. I remembered it being a lot worse, I was actually kind of disappointed, it was kind of bland.

I still dislike this concept enough that I seriously considered using a double negative and poor grammar in an attempt at a crude but extremely blunt expression of dissatisfaction.

Aw, a simple fuck no would have sufficed.

It's okay anyway, I wouldn't have dressed as either, although being a girl there is a tendency to assume that either army or navy wifes would at some stage in their lives wear a tee and jeans, so there is also a high probability that I have dressed like either or both once or twice, so perhaps I should avoid wearing clothes, but then, it is safe to assume that army and navy wives have gone naked in their lives, so that negates that possibility too, so I'm left with the option of putting a pair of men's underpants on my head and running around the house singing "It's raining men." and there is a large probability that neither army or navy wives have ever done this feat of stupidity.

I have recovered enough cat fur from under my A key on my keyboard to weave the sun a beanie, but it still isn't working correctly, so I have to find other words that don't have A's in them. very limiting.

The bird I rescued has gone from the birdhouse so he must have recovered enough to fly away.

^ I'm glad that was the first post I read here today.

Mine's online as well, and structured something like yours. 35% discussion board, 35% research paper, and a 30% final exam.

Oh my god is the book ever dry. Everything is stretched out using big words and complicated sentences when it really doesn't have to be worded that way. I can get over university text books lack of pictures, () but I don't think I'm ever going to enjoy the academic writing style.

However, it's still not as bad as reading the economics book.

UGH at your brackets. I think I'm going to have a lot of feelings of disgust, and moments where I want to rip out my hair at people's stupidity, while doing some of the readings in this class.

I hear you. My theory is that they put in the dry stuff to keep your nerves calm while reading the infuriating stuff. The text book in Feminist Theory is like that, dry dry dry....HOLY FUCK IS THAT EVER INFURIATING..dry dry dry...

War, Violence and Society is a good anthro course and I love it, but it was ALL infuriating shit and I burned out.

I just realized, as I alternated betwixt devouring scrumptious dark chocolate and milk chocolate almond clusters from Sees, that alternating my reading betwixt Nietzsche and Ralph Waldo Emerson is like alternating betwixt... dark chocolate and milk chocolate almond clusters from Sees.

It also leaves fingerprints on the pages.

I have a place of my own!!!!

I moved out of my sister's place on the 10th and I've just been working and paying bills. It feels great to have a job, again. I'm taking 3 online classes this summer and hopefully will have a car sometime this summer.

So, that's what my life has consisted of, lately: working, cursing my ex, paying bills, cursing my ex, seeing the kids when I can and cursing my ex. My world has shrunken considerably over the last few months. I'm doing it, but I feel like no matter how much I do it's never going to be enough.

Thought I might pop back in after nearly a year off.

Since last I was here I've completed purchase of and moved into a house of my very own, I've moved the Geek Munch to a pub that's got more space, better beer, better food, pool tables, etc, I've started getting the house fixed up (mostly by painting half the walls blood red and filling it with black and mahogany furniture), and I've got myself settled into a good job that I've had for over a year.

I'll be skipping out on the London Olympics this summer to go drinking in metal bars in Portugal, and next year I'm taking my darling Gentleman on a holiday to Chernobyl.

So... yeah, things are generally fairly awesome. We've even managed to get a lovely new record player for all the old goth vinyl, and the projector's working so we can watch the Addams Family on all of one living room wall.

How's everyone else's last 11-13 months been?
