I hate any phrases generated from reality television, for instance "bridezillas", or those painfully annoying names they used to give power couples in hollywood, for instance "Brangelina", I used to want to stab myself in the ears when I would hear that.
I hate when people put lol after everything, to me it's the equivalent of laughing at your own jokes in regular conversation, if it's funny, I'll laugh on my own, I don't need "lol" to remind me to laugh at something.
This is not a single word, but I hate office coffee talk. I hate when I'm at the coffee machine at work in the morning, and someone either comes up and starts making those annoying office friendly jokes, or starts talking about sports or family (ex: how are the kids, or did you see the game yesterday). It annoys me to no end, I'm there to do a job, and get a check, nowhere in the company literature did it say I had to laugh at corny jokes, or have pointless conversations in the morning about stuff I either don't care to share, or just have no interest in, with a person I don't care for.

"Perks"
I hear it at work and now, on videogames like Modern Warfare 2.
"It's just one of the perks of working here"
"That's my perk because I'm the manager here"
"You need to unlock more perks!!!"
"Coffee had perked him up long enough to tackle the reviews"

Coffee doesn't do that. Coffee makes people bounce off the walls and run for miles.

I have a terrible habit of using "like" in the form of "Like did they really cut the person up into tiny pieces?" or "Like if you went to the Bates Motel, you'll won't see the next day"

I hate it when people start sentences off with "...you know what?" Then tell you the story and finish with "ya know?"

OBVIOUSLY, if I didn't know what you were going to talk about to begin with, and you HAD to tell me the story, then I still don't know at the end of it what the hell you were thinking, feeling, or even know because I wasn't there.

I knew a person who used to say "ironic" when she meant "coincidence" and "tandem" when she meant "tangent". Are those malapropisms or something? I forget. Anyway, she's the only person I've known to do it so... Obviously. There were a couple other words she did that to but I forget them now, it was a while ago that I knew her.

I also don't like people using the word "random" in place of words like weird, great or coincidence.

There's a few others but I can't think of them now.

"Preggers" or "Preggies". *shudder*

Say "I am with child", "I'm expecting", "I have a bun in the oven" or even "I'm pregnant", but don't say you're "preggers". It makes you sound immature and stupid. Augh.

Can I add "Li-barry" to that list?

"Irregardless"

This is not a fucking real word, you idiot. There is a perfectly fitting word for your sentiment already, and it has one less syllable. Good news for you, you moronic waste of vocalization.

Oh, also I hate "your" and "you're" being misused. Did those people miss Contraction Day in first grade?

Does anyone know where that came from?! That one strikes a nerve with me, hearing people saying "I'm preggers." WTF? You might as well say "I'm pregnant" I mean, how hard is that?

Talking

I hate it when people use text message language in conversation!

Like a person that actually says, LOL or OMFG or BFE or TTFN.

Oh yes, and another.

I remembered from when I was 17, there were a few people I knew that had this thing about calling people "cuz",.....urban thing I guess.

FUCKING TERRIBLE!!

I often hear people using "sick" in replace of "cool".
"Fool, that party was TOO sick last weekend!".
Maybe it's just me, but I cannot stand hearing it..

My ex has been adopting new language lately as well. "Legit", in replace of "cool", and "gang" in replace of "a lot". I don't know how I could ever stand to be around him..

Oh, and "yall". Is it really that difficult to say "you all" instead?

I can't stand people using " Word" or "Word up" What the Fuck does that means anyway? It is in no way an affirmation!

I hate the word "recently" or "for a while"
How long is a while? It can be years, it can be months, it can be anything...
Or recently.. My father hasn`t been feeling well recently, can be two years or can be few months or days.
