Hail Hail Red Dwarf!

Series 8 is probably the best series since they reintroduced Krissie.

I got the "Just the Shows" DVD for my birthday last year and spent a wonderful night with my other half lying on the futon watching it with tears of laughter in our eyes. I think I'll dip into it again tonight Oooh I have something to look forward to tonight now!

I love red dwarf, it comes on sporadicly on my pbs station kind of alternating with Doctor Who, which is just as good of a show. Anyone else like The Doctor?

I also love Doctor Who especially the new series with David Tennant as the Doctor, Tom Baker comes a close second in my favourites

I think they're on youtube if anyone is interested.

Seems most people hated the new ones because they "had bad acting, a bad script, and awful effects". In other words it's exactly the same as it used to be. Sadly some of the cheap props got replaced with cheap CGI. They also removed the laughter track / live audience which changes the atmosphere a bit. Because it's got more of a story to it than Red Dwarf usually does, they seem to have less comedy moments per minute than the old episodes. Though the funny moments are almost as good as they used to be.
