Greetings from Rhith

Hello, all. I see a introductory quiz has been provided for our amusement. I suppose I shall fill it out then.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

I enjoy tinkering with various art forms. I focus on the digital, mainly for the ease of use, although I am not opposed to getting messy. Outside of artistic trifles I thoroughly enjoy many forms of entertainment, especially live theater.
As for employment, I have worked in various areas, mainly in the entertainment sector, but I have yet to settle into a stable career.

2. Where are you from?

I hail from the southern United States.

3. Who is your favorite author?

I am terrible with picking favorites with most things. I will say that I am an avid reader and will give most anything placed before me an honest chance. Currently my reading tastes include classic horror, some dark fantasy, modern thrillers, and Sherlock Holmes novels.

4. What are your favorite films?

Again, pinpointing exact titles is difficult for me. I have such a vast collection of films that remembering them all becomes difficult when faced these questions. The most common genres I collect are book, graphic novel, play, and musical adaptations, some drama, and classic horror.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

Marriage is not in the forefront of my mind. I suppose something traditional will do nicely. I am partial to Pachebel's Cannon.

6. At your funeral?

Since I will not be able to listen, my loved ones may play whatever is the most comforting to them.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

I would prefer it happen naturally, not by another's hand.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

Ashes to ashes. Better to be cremated than to be excavated 300 years later by archeologists.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

I love to wear capes, cloaks, trench coats, and all manner of sophisticated outerwear. Unfortunately the weather here is rather on the warm side most of the year, so I opt for comfort in the form of jeans or shorts and a tee.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

I miss the blissful unawareness of time passing. Now that I can see the clock racing it is much harder to take the time to appreciate the small things.

11. What's your favorite band?

I listen to many things depending on my mood. I always enjoy showtunes and musical numbers, my favorite shows being The Phantom of the Opera and Tanz der Vampire. I have been known to listen to old Nightwish and Within Temptation, classical masters such as Dvorak and Mozart, and sometimes New Age and World. One of my recent new loves is E Nomine.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

I have graduated from high school and hold an Associate's Degree in 3D Animation. I am hoping to enroll in a 4-year institution.

13. Why did you join?

I was invited and thought I might find some interesting conversations.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

Much of my life I have been rather androgynous. I am quite used to people making mistakes, and, in fact, it usually amuses me to see people flustered over such a silly subject. Address me as your wont.

My, my. I seem to have come to the end. I shall enjoy conversing with all of you.

About your burial thing, I remember walking through a cemetery a bit ago with a friend, and we got to a point where it stopped, there was a BIG highway, and then continued on the other side. Perplexed I asked him what happened, and he told me that actually all of the headstones on the other side were new even with some of them dating back 50-100 years, because they dug up the graves to relocate them, but some of them are still under the highway and some didn't even get re-buried. Mind you this is also the town Stephan King lives in, so it's sort of funny how dark the legends of the town are.

As some have said, I will agree you DO seem a lot like HavelockV, but my thought is... eh, it could be a LOT worse. I don't mind seeing more HavelockV folk running around.

I heard sometimes in cemeteries, in order to make room, they bury you for a while and then after a bit they dig the gravesite up and bury someone on top of you.

I've heard that too actually... I wonder if being buried is really a good idea...

Ahhh....my good sir. Your fashion sense is quite superb. We may have a great deal of common, except for the fact that you are man and I am feline.

Lord Whiskerton, the fact that you are a cat in a monocle and a tophat makes me want to cuddle you. This freaks me out in a very real way.

I like it, too! And I also love Dvorak.

Welcome!

Thank you all for the kind welcome. I apologize for my absence. Life has a way of interrupting things.

As to your comments, I am happy to report that you all have provided me with a good chuckle, especially those referring to my resemblance to a certain HavelockV. It pleases me that there are people here who share some of my interests.

I look forward to our future talks.
