These are only the dates for the US. I'm sure their tour will be more extensive, a friend just sent me these though.

I wouldn't give 'I hate goths' Eldritch a dime. He's a wanker. I think that this is the only subculture that worships bands that openly hate them.

Ok, the atlanta show is really tempting, but you are right Horrorgirl. Plus, what the hell have they done new in the last 10 to 15 years? A couple remakes of older songs don't cut it, especially when even those are 10 years dated.

Eldritch sees that some people consider his past work to be great so he milks it to make money. He probably figures 'why should I make any new music when these stupid goths will pay $50.00 a ticket to see me perform songs that are 20 years old'.

Okay, so I've been living under a rock, but I didn't know he loathed goth culture that damn much...
I don't blame Xng for wanting to pee on him...

hehe, yeah... last anti-goth movement i heard of from him was from a few years back when he signed a couple bands on to some festival he was headlining, but had not actually met them in person, just chose who by listening to their stuff, or whatever... so one of the bands, upon meeting them, he decided they looked too goth and booted them off the ticket. They retaliated by trying to slap him with a lawsuit. not sure what the outcome was.... or if the story is even true. but knowing him, it probably is. if it was true, i hope they won.

Why does daddy hate us?

I think it's funny that he relies on goths to make money, but supposedly 'hates' us. He's a wanker, but he needs us to survive, bloody ironic.

uhm, the only original band member is eldritch. on like every album. so do you mean "it wouldn't be the same without the mission uk - which are the original original band members, (course they've proly changed too by now), or pick any album. cause i don't think even a guitarist lasted from one to the next.

Ah, I didn't know they changed from album to album.

Yeah, they do. I am not entirely sure that every single member has changed every time, but considering there are only 3 Sisters studio albums, while the others are singles compilations, i'm pretty sure the line-up is different on each. I don't even think anybody from the Vision Thing line-up is still playing with him now. You can chalk it up to 'creative difference', or the simple fact that eldritch is a dick.

Then again, i'm not sure if the Sisterhood project was from the Floodland line-up or not, or if it would count as a 4th studio album. I doubt it. Sisterhood was a snotty little jibe at the members of Mission, who when they decided to ditch eldritch and do their own thing, he got pissy about their choice name and said they couldn't use it. it went to court, and eldritch decided he'd beat them to the punch and do a side thing under the sisterhood title, just so wayne hussey couldn't use the name. Or basically... something like that. There's something about it also being the name of their fanclub.

Proly way more info than you care about, but anyway.

I intended to see them twice on their 1999 tour, ft lauderdale, and orlando, but a hurricane wandering around the gulf of mexico
came in and drenched the state between the ft> lauderdale show and the orlando show.
On the 99 show, what surprised me was how many songs I did'nt know. I will pr5obably
catch the ft laud show and the orlando show also. Yeah, the stuff is old, but
I haven't found anybody I like better. Andrew tours when he runs out of crank money, I hear. I dunno if he hates goth that much, but everybody hates being stuffed into a
slot.

The goth subculture supported his band and then he turns around and says he hates it. He's an idiot. I will never see them live because he's a hypocrite.
