I only started learning programming in the last 3 weeks as a small part of my course. So games aren't something I can do.

One of my house mates doing computer science made a game last year for coursework. A platform game where you start on the bottom floor of an underwater base and have to escape to the submarine at the top after an explosion causing leeks. It has bulkhead doors that close if the water level gets too high that can trap you.

thats cool. i'd like to learn how to do flash based games. Sometime next year I'll be taking a course that requires building assets for a 3d game engine.

I work for an independent games company called Canvas Software. Our first game was a 3D puzzle platformer for the PC, created in VC++, using our own 3D OpenGL Engine.

We're currently working on a Java-based Mobile action adventure called Mayan Conquest.

Not yet, but that's my Major. I have an introductory class to programming right now and am finishing up my gen ed. My dream job is working for an anti-virus software company though, not so much gaming.
