This was actually a great read.
Though I wouldn't say number one was the most scariest ;x

I WAS thinking of #1, but I saw the first film when I was waaaay too young (like four?) so that probably has a lot to do with it.
I don't agree with some like The Pale Man. It was a tense moment in the film but I didn't find it scary.
I think the demon things from Jacob's Ladder should have been there.

I think my issue with this list drives from that most of these things I can fight. Which is to say, that the things that have kept from nights of sleep were, well done ghost stories. The girl from The Ring still makes me scared. Then again this was for scary creatures not scariest things ever. Which then I will say that creatures with minimal features are the most that frighten me. I swear, if slenderman ever makes a high budget film, I wont sleep for days.

You should really watch Jacob's Ladder! It was the inspiration for Silent Hill.

The article mentioned Brian Yuzna. Another good (if not extremely campy) movie he did was Necronomicon. In it, there is a scene where a guy is getting a blowjob from his dead wife, and tentacles come out of her mouth (including other orifices). That shit was disturbing. I tried to find an image but couldn't. I did find this one though, which is pretty spiffy. It's HP Lovecraft pulling a cultist's face off

Anyway, I am not brave to watch a horror movie alone. But if my friends come with me, I will have the courage.

Every time I watch this movie, these two characters send me into fits of terror.

I did too, the other day. I fucking LOVE the Addams family!!! Its like the one show where the goth kids aren't the bad guys. (well maybe not the only one, but some times it feels like it)
