Hello all

I really suck at introductions, but here goes.
I am a stay at home mom with 4 kids, they are 8,7,5, and 4, 3 girls and 1 boy
I am called a closet goth my those who know me, only because its easier to take kids to the bus and go to the store in jeans and t-shirts or hoodies. I sew and make chainmaille in my spare time, corsets are my favorite sewing project to work on, but I just moved so everything is still in boxes right now,
I can't draw or paint to save my life, but I write a little, mostly poetry, I love to read, alot of Anne Rice, but some science nerdy stuff too, my boyfriend has gotten me into D & D, but i'm a newby at it so if you use "the talk" i'll just give you the eyebrow and go "huh?"

If theres anything else you would like to know about me, don't be afraid to ask, the worst i could do is refuse to answer, and that leaves you no worse off than when you started.

Don't worry about the questions, you pretty much answered them.

For some of the nazis around here, though, what music do you like?

Don't worry about painting or drawing, making a good corset is just as astonishing as painting something wonderful! ^^
Cloth is really just like a canvas

Anyways, welcome to the boards, dear!

I like a little of most genres of music, everything from rock to classical, hip hop to ... well anything that is appealing to me, I try not to lock myself into one catagory, that seems really boring.

OK, what do you mean by nerdy science books--are you talking about sci-fi, or literally books on science?

Also, how did you first learn to sew?

From one n00b to another, welcome.

Actual books on science, currently into the Darwin Compendium.
As far as sewing, my grandma starting teaching when I was big enough to hold a needle, then my mom put me threw sewing lessons for about a year, that gave me the basics, everything i have learned about corset making is self taught.

Welcome to the boards. D&D is a good way to waste a day, though I haven't played in a while.
