Crime and Punishment I don't know about, so much of the action is internal that it could easily wind up like The Asassination of Jesse James - lots of meaningful looks and staring out the window and precious little else. Ask the Dust would be amazing though, and I think that The Road to Los Angeles would be great as well - I would imagine that Fante's comedy would translate perfectly onto the screen. I *think* Wait Until Spring, Bandini is already a movie, although I've never seen it.

A Batman and Robin remake, no Bane or Freeze. Not so full of puns this time.

Any of R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt Do'Urden books would make excellent movies, provided that it's extremely high budget and has the right director.

This I must agree with! Would make excellent movies if done right!

Although because of its ties to Dungeons And Dragons, it might end up as shitty as those movies.

I used to like Dungeons and Dragons...

I think they should remake the Oedipus plays into a modern movie. I believe the last one was made in the 80's.

"Imaginos" might make an alright movie. That would be hard, though.

Dragonlance- Dragons of Autumn aTwilight, Dragons of Winter Night, Dragons of Spring Dawning. Autumn Twilight has been animated, but it sucks sooo bad! I think these movies would make more than Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. ALSO. The Cosmic Trilogy by CS Lewis.
