There's a reason ABC is putting this on the air as a summer replacement series. They don't think it's going to catch on. I don't either.

Vampires as prime-time soap opera? Done and done to death.

If I ever get a chance to make a tv show, it'll be a show about vampires. And it'll be a sitcom.

I hope it's much better than the movie "Dracula: Dead and Loving It" was.

Aww, I loved Dead and Loving It!

But I guess vampire comedy has been done as well. Back to the drawing board.

I think it is kind of interesting. It is a prime time series on a major network. I've seen vampire movies, vampire kid shows after school, but this seems different. I thought maybe it was a rip off of Vampire Diaries or Happy Town, yet it looks as though the town is like a breeding ground for human victims for the local werewolf and vampire families.

It is difficult to say were it is going, yet it isn't Vampire Diaries. That one is all Twilight teen stuff. I hope it doesn't turn into Happy Town, that may be one of my new favorite shows.

Here is the trailer

It is not based on the 1987 movie.

You neglect the fact that this is the only one that is on a broadcast network, as opposed to the others on cable networks. Also the cast is far more experienced, not to mention Rhona Mitra's roll in the Underworld series of films is certain to draw attention to this.

Isn't that show about mermaids?

No I haven't seen it. Those mermaids are too crazy for me.
