Goths in the media
I am almost positive that this has been done already. If so, oh well.
I am talking about Goth characters in movies, cartoons, stuff like that.
Which one do you like the best. Which one is the best?
If you think this is pointless, don't comment.

Vince in the Nanageddon episode of the Mighty Boosh.
And that character he played in the IT Crowd. The Cradle of Filth thing annoyed me for a bit, but otherwise he was rather funny.

I'm guessing graphic novels don't count? Either way, it's about to be a motion picture, so yeah. Hack/Slash is about a closeted lesbian goth woman named Cassie Hack. She's a slasher who hunts slashers. Why everyone is not in love with both her and the series is beyond me.
Google image, for god's sakes.

The Raisins episode of Southpark has the goth kids and Stan becomes one of them. And it also has a line something like:
"I'd rather be a whinning little pussy than a faggy goth kid" - Butters.
Richmond is the goth in the IT Crowd. Noel Fielding annoys me generally but I still found that episode funny (its on youtube too here). Chris Morris is pretty cool but hes the manager.
Or theres the BBC Goths episode of Spine Chillers. Click. All 4 parts should be there. It has Mark Heap as the dude that owns the house.
Ok so I didn't do a favourite but theres some stuff to try if you haven't.

Abby in CSI is rather cute and at least her music is quasi-goth (even if it is EBM, like Android Lust).

NCIS, actually. And yeah, I find her rather cute as well. An extremely lovable TV goth.

I don't know if you would consider D from Vampire hunter D a goth but he does fit the bill,he wears all black he's a loner,a lil' moody and a vampire. So if he counts then it's him and if not then probably Damian southpark.

Do any of the characters from the Beetlejuice movie and/or cartoon count?
On the subject of Abby on NCIS, who does break the usual way that the media shows Goths. Which is usually shown like the south park quote Raptor posted. No respect I tell ya.
I would throw my vote toward the chick who use to interview all the bands on Fuse tv. But I don't have cable and I forget her name, but damn was she a Hot Gothic. Ring any bells for anyone.

I like Raven from Teen Titans & Sam Manson from Danny Phantom...
But notice how they all have either purple or blue clothing.

They have purple or blue so that they are easier to see on the screen. They are cartoons after all =\
There's one episode of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, where Grim hooks up with a goth girl, she wore burgendy clothing.

I LOVED the goth vampires in Terry Pratchett's Carpe Jugulum.
"I thought you'd like this sort of thing, dear," said the Countess. "It's the sort of thing your crowd does, isn't it?"
"I don't know what you're talking about!" said the girl.
"Oh, staying up until gone noon and wearing brightly coloured clothes, and giving yourself funny names," said the Countess.
"Like Gertrude," sneered Vlad. "And Pam. They think it's cool."
I also really liked Tak from Invader Zim. And Dib. And Tenna, Johnny, and every other Johnen Vasquez character.

Abbey from the book "You suck"
My favortite line from her is:
"Let me say right here, if I haven't made it clear, that I have seen as many pale, naked old-man parts in the last twenty-four hours to bruise my delicate psyche for a lifetime, so don't be surprised if you someday find me wandering the moors at midnight, a crazed look in my eye, babbling about albino Tater Tots nesting in Brillo pads and being pursued by sagging man ass, because that shit can happen when you've been traumatized."

Darlene from Roseanne always seemed a little bit gothic, though she was more like a misfit than anything else.

Sanguine: But...isn't that what 'goths' originally were...? XD
I would say her style was more 'grunge', back when that was an actual style.
