I think it's funny because it's obviously a parody unless noone picked that up in the first place.

We picked it up.
It was funny the first time, maybe even the second time. Not the 474594th time.

Great idea...but I don't do that in every post. Besides, I was potentially mocking the people that use 'internet slang' by doing that anyway. So...yeah

Wal-Mart doesn't have goth clothing? Bullshit. Just look at me; I buy blank t-shirts, basic leather jackets, ledies' fishnet stockings, and fabric paint there. All I have to do is put them together in a creative way to make something spooktacular. Of course, you can't find goth clothing off-the-shelves there, but you can still make some. It's also a really inexpensive alternative.

Just out of curiosity, Drac, how tall are you with your boots on and your hair up?

That reminded me of a Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode, where a bunch of giant neon studded casino mascots came to life. Chief Wiggum shot the captain of the high school basketball team, thinking he was a monster.

Ya. It is safe to say that black clothing is good. I don't know the cost of things over there, but I have bought a bikini there before.
Other ideas to improve you gothic clothing selection are chaing and collars. You can get them in hardware or the pet section. Then also have hair dye at a lower price and of course, steel-toed work boots.
These are all wonderful accessories to your Goth selection.
(I should do a show on TLC.)

I agree with Draconysius: It is more important to know how to combine and alter the clothes than to buy the self-appointed "gothic clothing" to get the stetic.
I happen to live in a very small town with a short population of goths. In the nearby towns, there's only one shop of "gothic clothing", and all they have is overpriced, badly made and all the posers in the area wear it... so I get all of my stuff in other places. It looks way more original if done properly.

The closest I can get to DIY without hurting myself is tricking out my converse sneakers (they are most excellantly awsome by the way)
