Hello from a stranger.
Hello everyone.
My name is Elia. I am vegetarian. I am very much fascinated by Vampires and the night. I enjoy reading books by candle light. And well, I am very happy to have joined this community and I hope on getting to know many of you here.
What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I paint and draw. I also like altering clothing.
2. Where are you from?
I am from the United States.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Anne Rice
4. What are your favorite films?
I enjoy most of the vampire movies out there. Underworld movies, Blade, Interview with the Vampire, Queen of The Damned, Dracula, Dracula 2000. Some other movies I like are The Crow, The Evil Dead, The Craft, The Covenant, and all the Saw movies.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Traditional song with a horror twist
6. At your funeral?
Creepy organ music
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? Probably in my sleep.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Casket with blood red velvet interior with black exterior
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
*Casual Wear* Tripp bondage pants, band tee, and black hoodie.
*Going out outift* Probably well fitted dark gray / black jeans, heeled boots, shirt with black fishnet under it.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Having no responsibilities.
11. What's your favorite band? I love EBM and Industrial music.
I cannot choose one band. But here are several ones I like; Deathstars, Deadstar assembly, Combichrist, London After Midnight, Theatres Des Vampires, James D. Stark, The 69 Eyes, Velvet Acid Christ, Blutengel, Assemblage 23, Nightwish, The Birthday Massacre , Disturbed, UnderWorld, VNV Nation, Cradle of Filth, Covenant, The Cure, TOOL.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Finished high school. Going to major in fashion design in college. I am planning on designing and creating gothic clothing later on in life.
13. Why did you join?
I joined to be part of a large gothic community, since where I live there aren't many like minded people.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I am a female.
Thanks to everyone who read this.
xXx

I love bats. So thanks! Speaking of bats I used to have one lurking around my home every summer night for two summers. Sadly this summer he didn't come back...

"We'll make electricity so cheap, only the rich will burn candles."
It just stayed in my head all through the thread.

I don't want to be presumptuous, but do you know what xXx means?

Oh, alright. I was just hoping it was not "just because."
Being straight edge, I bet you know what I'm talking about; that feeling when people use it because everyone else does.

No I understand. I have come across a number of people who do use it as a meaningless symbol.
So I am guessing you are straightedge as well?

Not really. I drink casually. I just respect the straight edge lifestyle when it's not 'to be cool'.

Oh, okay. That is respectable of you. You are one of the few who I know to respect it. Many people around me think it is foolish.
So thanks.

Well, that's understandable. It comes back to what I implied above.
There's people that are sober because they become straight edge.
And there's people that are straight edge because they become sober.
It's like a guy being leftist because he likes punk or liking punk because he's leftist, you know?
