Too much?

I've two items for one question.

I found a very nice pair of light blue skinny stretch jeans for about $30 bucks.

I also found a nice pair of red dickies that would fit me rather slim-ly for $20

Would anyone consider either of these, "expensive?"

No way, those are bargains. I'd pay that . . Oh hang on, in Aussie dollars I'd pay that for sure, but our money isn't worth much these days. Not sure what the exchange rate is at the moment but still might be a good buy. I'd pay up to AU$70 for good jeans, they're worth it.

OK, decided against the jeans, primarily because they were a good color but I didn't want more low rise jeans. As they advertise, "SUPER LOW RISE". I wear a bullet belt. It weighs four pounds. Add that to low rise jeans and you've got plumbers crack waiting to happen. I found a way to get around that, but I don't need more of that. I am going to get the red Dickies. They're a 30 inch inseam, the same as my skinny jeans, so it'll be good. Patches will go on them for certain.

They cost roughly $26 American.

This is: 41 AUD, 19 GBP, 21 Euros, 32 Dollars Canadian, and about 2540 Japanese Yen.

Did I get everyone on the boards for the most part?

Yeah that's a rippa bargain. I'd pay about that. What patches are you thinking about putting on?

Ha ha, I used to get plumbers crack a fair bit wearing low jeans, my brother used to tell me "crack kills". Perhaps I'm getting too old for jeans like that now . . maybe

I dress for comfort a lot more these days.

Buy the jeans. I guess you could wait until Easter sales; however, that's pretty good deal already.

Glad you decided on the red dickies, that's a really good price!
Super low rise can be dangerous, though i'm sure you could pull it off without the bullet belt...

Usually I stick with things that cost $3-$6 from the thrift shops, but I have kind of an odd body shape so when I find a pair of pants that actually fit me well and make me feel attractive I pay whatever the cost. I usually expect to pay around about the $30 range for a decent pair of new pants, though when I've really loved them and figured I'd get a lot of use out of them I've paid up to $95. Hey, body-confidence is priceless..

Oh I know what you mean, I've got huge hips, but a somewhat small waist, so pants are hard to find correctly fitting.

See, this is why I don't wear pants. Odd body shapes. Go skirts.

Depends on what they cost to begin with before any deductions.

If that is their original price, then I think they are a little expensive...but then again, I'm a tightwad, so there you go. :P

If a pair of pants looks great on you but you could buy 5 more pants that do nothing for you - just buy the good ones.

that is not expensive.

You have a point...but I wouldn't buy the other pants unless I "needed" them.

Like I said...tightwad. :P

No, my skinny jeans all have a thirty inseam and they go down to my ankle. Plus, I wear knee high boots (yes, always) so if they were and fit me like I'd like I'd buy them anyway.

Do they have lay-by there?
I lay-by things. That way I don't feel like I have spent my mney on something useless if I am only paying off amounts gradually
