Adora Batbrat

She has great vids with makeup tips and there are also some crafting vids(cuz DIY is part of any true Goth's asrsenal).

Razor Candi, although now that she's a Blue Blood model....I'm liking her a bit less.

Anna-Varney Cantodea

More recently:

Ian Astbury and Carl McCoy

I used to be one of those up-my-own-ass people that scoffed at anyone who wore whiteface and black lipstick until I saw people doing it right for a change. Then I started to rethink my stance that whiteface and black lippie was just for babybats.

I do not look like any of these beautiful people in the least, but their style influences some of my makeup and clothing styles.

Rob Halford is one of the most awesome Takei men ever to walk the earth! I saw him in concert in 2007, still ruling a fucking stage!

I am the worst at DIY, but i suppose practice makes perfect, no? I tend to scoff at the white face and black lip thing myself, perhaps because I have never seen anyone do it right. Proof or it never happened =p

In the states you see it mainly on Baby Bats. I guess that's where the stigma started over here? In other countries, from what I've seen, it's more accepted that everyone goes as pale as they're comfortable with. Have you ever gone through the galleries on the 'Wave Gotik Treffen' website?

No, I have not, actually. I'm not sure why I never bothered, but I'm guessing because I have no intention of attending. I'm not exactly docking anyone for doing it, I just think it looks a little silly sometimes.
