Hmm Goth-inspired look eh?

Some hairdresser bloke actually told me I looked kinda like her once. I had to restrain myself from wringing his neck in frustration. Anyway, that really just looks like "normal", black clothes.

If Kelly Osbourne is the poster-child for your look, you should already be looking for a new look.

Stupid people who think this is goth. It's not goth, it's all an extension of the new wave of "emo" (I said "new wave" because I am aware that emo wasn't always what it is now).

But...Goth was influenced by Glam to begin with...

It's not an extension of anything, it's just normal clothes, but black. There's nothing different about it whatsoever.

Surely Dita von Teese just wears black burlesque clothes, and Kelly Osbourne just wears black lots.

If these two (points to Dita & Kelly) are the epitome of said fashion, it isn't 'goth inspired'; it is Dita and Kelly inspired.

You know, I think Stitch made a great point by covering himself in grays and lilac colors for his stage performance. Fuck man, seriously. People need to realize that black isn't really goth.

I kinda agree with that. I'd say that no one colour is any more goth than any other. There's more to the look than a particular colour.

I see some similarities to my particular fashion sense.
And I agree with the black thing.
I wear a lot of black, but it's always with lavender.
Then I have an all white outfit for special occasions.

is it wrong that I want to take some of those items on the list, rip them to shreads, and make something I can wear with it? Would it still be Kelly and Dita inspired?

Depends on what you make I suppose. If you make a Dita T-shirt, yes. If you make a sack with armholes, then nope.

Wouldn't glam goth just be goth with feather boas and glitter?

Ohwell.
I still get glam and New-Wave confused...

Exactly! How they can call this long black simple skirt Goth Inspired? I have no idea! Wow its a black skirt, no different then any other black skirt sold in the world. What? is it the slight wavy part that makes it more goth? or maybe its the tacky bracelet that they think you should add with this plain black skirt that makes it more Goth?
Hmm

I have to admit though. I went on the Coast website and had a look through some of their stuff. Very nice. But I wouldn't pay 150 bucks for a freaking skirt. Jog on!

I like both apparently though.

So it's not really a problem.

That was damn good movie, up there with the rest of my faves.
I want to like steal the person who did the wardrobe and get them to redo mine.
