She's pretty as is, she just isn't conventional. Ironic that you don't like that she doesn't fit convention, otherwise, why be here?

I thought the "What not to Wear" comment was unusual. I watch the show. They have this amazing ability of taking people from many walks of life and making them look kind-of the same, that sears catalogue appeal. I wasn't going to say anything, but the comment is disturbing.

Actually, they have a lot of useful information, even for those of us of the darkly inclined.

Tips about what kind of haircuts, clothing, etc. look good [and really really bad] on certain types of bodies and faces is -really- useful. For instance, if you have actually watched the show, you would have known what would look good on you and what wouldn't..

It has nothing to do with being 'unconventional'. It has to do with the type of 'unconventional' one wants to be. Catch said that her vids had to do with teaching folks how to look good as Goths, when in fact they simply didn't; nothing, save for the weird rope ladder thing, was 'unconventional'. As for the rope ladder belt [or whatever it was], it made her look certifiably nuts...and not in the cool, 'Goth' way.

Now if she wants to look like a for-real crazy person instead of truly celebrating her gothicity, that's totally up to her.

Catch, are you even being serious? Do you honestly think that anyone here could even remotely benefit from your advice? Your outfits are beyond unflattering, and your poses in the video are just plain silly. I can only hope that you're joking.

They've been doing it for a while, and better than you (Catch) have. Well, it could be worse ... nevermind, I don't want to give her any ideas.

I don't think she even reads the feedback in here, she's in her own little world....

THEN WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP POSTING???????

Jesus H Christ can't you see people think your videos are utter time wasting shit ? You can't even dress yourself properly let alone advise others on how to do it! .You have no idea how to wear stripes and in fact, shouldn't wear them at all given your size, they honestly do make you look twice as wide as you probably are .

You made a goddamn tit-sling out of bits of chain for fuck knows what reason, and to top all this off, performed your hilariously abominable idea of "dancing" whilst wearing a skirt so hideously patterend it made me want to tear out my own eyes. My late aunt, who was a size 30, didn't wear clothes as ugly as that.

For fucks sake!!!!!

I've taken tips from what not to wear. I have as they put it so eloquently in their book, big tits, big arms and I find some of their comments useful. I don't know what they would think if they actually saw me tho lol.

Catch I couldn't see you very well in your video, it seemed quite dark in the room.

For all it completely defeats the entire purpose of the video, I'm heartily glad it was dark. The less of those clothes seen the better.

The next item up for auction is a candid photograph of Duane wearing Catch's chain-link tit sling, and nothing else. I shall start the bidding at 50 dollars.

Why don't I just build a bra out of safety pins and stick a Bauhaus patch on each nipple? To " add interest "

Catch either

a.) Is just really fucking stupid, or
b.) Does all of this just to get a rise out of us, and it works.

Fuck that.

First of all: None of your vids had ANYTHING to do with putting buttons or patches on ANYTHING.

Second of all: Goths have been doing that since the beginning. Go look at the DIY thread and you'll see where folks have been making their own patches and buttons long before your vids.

That's what I meant before. People have been doing this for YEARS. Certainly longer than goth has been around.

She didn't even show any sewing, or where to sew, or how to sew by hand for those who may not know. Just a shitty picture of some extremely mediocre buttons on some ugly clothing with crappy text over the top.

Unless they're tremendously unusual, who the fuck is going to notice buttons anyway?
