I want some boots from motorcowboy.com, either the selene boots from underworld or the starwars boots that some alien chick wore they seem relatively practical, of course I'd get them in black :P. With size 13 feet thats one of the few sites that sell boots I actually like and are made of leather, can't stand plastic boots.

There are a lot of great pieces that I've seen come out of dark fashion boutiques but they all seem to be splattered with the shiny: silver-coloured spikes or other accents that don't really appeal to me. I should seriously learn to make my own clothes. Ha. Yeah right, and right after that I'll be declared Canada's new Head of State.

But I just don't see the point. My HANDS are never cold, just my fingers. If it's cold fingers that's the issue then how would fingerless gloves help?
I mean when it's cold the loss of hand mobility isn't what stops you, it's loss of finger mobility. You pickin' up what I'm puttin' down, sugar?

But gloves and especially mittens inhibit digit mobility. And if the palms of your hands are warm and cozy, you can just hold your fingers in them to regain feeling while you're working.

But but...you can do that without gloves. Actually I should think heat transfer from your palms to your fingertips would work better when they weren't covered in yarn...skin to skin, know what I mean?

If your palms are impervious to the cold, yes. But palms that were kept nice and warm are best.
