Weird Fashion Trends/Fashion Disasters

Oh no! I made a thread. This is about the oddities of fashion and fashion disasters. Fuzzy snow boots when there is no snow bothers me, especially when the boots are ugly. And tucking pants into said ugly boots is something I really don't understand. Ack. Discuss bad fashion!

Fashion Disasters?

Australia created a huge mistake.

They're called ugg boots.

Short for Ugly boots, they look like little skinned sheep on your feet.

Gross!!!

Yes, here in the UK it is a big thing for girls to wear boots. Furry, up to their knees, and skirts just below their crack, even when it's 10 degrees out! I'll be standing there in skate shoes and jeans and everyone looks at you like, You have absolutley no fashion sense.

Huh?

I ALMOST got some for my Mom because she is a DIE HARD thong woman, and I thought it would be friggin funny, but the dirty looks I got from her the last time I mentioned her penchant for Butt Floss changed my mind...

A disturbing and skanky invention, nonetheless...

I wear thongs but I never want people to see them. That's embarassing. Why would you show your thong off and wear jewelry on it. Fashion has reached a new low. And at a dollar store too.

Those boots are horrible. Just dreadful!

Ugh. Thongs can be OK, on the right people. But then you get people who shouldn't be in thongs, wearing thongs that are too small. Or when you have people who the thongs aren't in the right place...

Speaking of cracks, jeans that are made to show OFF the crack are a disaster. Can we leave a LITTLE to the imagination?

Thank goodness I haven't seen those jeans yet. I wear thongs for comfort but I don't let anyone see my underwear. It is underwear after all. You know UNDER the clothes.

Yeah, and they wear them (fuzzy snow boots) with tiny skirts...oh yeah, that looks warm! (and intelligent!)

Another fashion disaster I believe?

Babydoll shirts.

When teens wear them.

It's kinda like: 'Wear them! We'll look pregnant at this age!'

I never wear shirts that have one-word proclamations on them for that reason!

Has anyone ever noticed that girls who wear shirts that say...

Princess - usually looks trashy

Cutie - has a messed up face

Hot - is wearing a shirt 2 sizes too small in a bad way

Or do I just imagine this?!?

You're not imagining it. I just don't really pay enough attention to notice faces. I'm usually looking down at the ground when I walk but I'm sure you're right.

*evil grin*

Well, I think some one word shirts are okay. I wear one that says, Evil.

You're too cute anyways, Winged. You could pull of pink sparkles and one word shirts if you wanted ;P

I suppose so. I need to take some fabric paint and make up some odd word shirts. That would be fun.

I think it would be cool to use political quotes. Like...

"The media is the enemy"

Ronald Reagan

But probably not for everyone, I suppose.

Oh, yes! Kids out here are wearing painted-on razzle dazzle jeans again. Remember those from the early 90's, like the Fresh Prince wore?

Oh!! I would love to have this on a shirt:

War is Peace.
Freedom is Slavery.
Ignorance is Strength.

1984 is such a kickass book.

You could put 1984 on the front and your quotes on the back. If you silkscreen it, will you let us see pictures?

I have a T shirt that says:

I saw JESUS.

Running from the border patrol.

-----------------------------------

It's racist but oh so hilarious.

Tis an awesome idea. Hmmm...I wonder if any stores around here would do that since I don't have a silkscreener. And if not, there's always fabric paint.

What's with the fur these days? It's everywere..on bags, boots, coats etc..I find it disgusting, and it's not even nice. Honestly, I like fur but the way people wear it these days is ugly and only gets uglier and nastier..

I have a shirt that says:

The best way to use and say the f word:
Anger: Fuck you.

I gave to my brother to wear to school and I never got it back..it was my favorite..

I would have to say really baggy pants that hang so low the wearer looks like they took a dump. This includes those stupid baggy pants with the 'bondage' straps all over them.Thank god my boyfriend thinks they are ridiculous, because if he wore them I would throw them away.
